This is the place where we will post your stories about the Green's Playhouse, The Glasgow Apollo and Satelitte City (The Wee Apollo). As it develops we will break the stories up into sections such as Myths, Gigs I missed, Meeting the Bands, Where are they now etc. No story too trivial and we will only edit out bad language!
New Forum structure on Apollomemories soon.

| great support band, they were gonna "set the world on fire" I can
remember the big backdrop behind the drums with the "set the world" logo
for the new LP. at least we were in no doubt as to who they were as most
support bands wander on, do their thing then disappear whilst the audience have no
idea who they were

| I thought they were a great support band (UFO-79 I think) and went straight out and
bought 'Set the Would on Fire' on picture disc. Probably worth about tuppence now.
Don't know what happened to them. Maybe got caught up in the anti-rock feeling during
the punk era but they could have went on to bigger and better things.
