And then he walked along the edge of the Circle

This is the place where we will post your stories about the Green's Playhouse, The Glasgow Apollo and Satelitte City (The Wee Apollo). As it develops we will break the stories up into sections such as Myths, Gigs I missed, Meeting the Bands, Where are they now etc. No story too trivial and we will only edit out bad language!

New Forum structure on Apollomemories soon.

Nah, the Rods were pretty good.  The posing was a bit naff, but the music was good.  The second lp Wild Dogs was great.  Ok some of the album sleeve artwork was a naff too, but seriously, give 'em a listen. [reply]

Have to agree, I quite liked them, great wee power trio. Tommy Vance played 'Crank It Up' on the radio and i thought it was a great track. Remember Dave'very wee Rock'Feinstein running from one end of stage to the other during guitar solo. Carl Canedy was a very pwerful skinsman but, yes they were ugly gits. [reply]

From what I remember they did a very rocky version of you keep me hanging on, can remember who had the original hit, but Kim Wylde did a cover version. Well worth a listen [reply]
