This is the place where we will post your stories about the Green's Playhouse, The Glasgow Apollo and Satelitte City (The Wee Apollo). As it develops we will break the stories up into sections such as Myths, Gigs I missed, Meeting the Bands, Where are they now etc. No story too trivial and we will only edit out bad language!
New Forum structure on Apollomemories soon.

| On a particularly wet and cold September night we went to see Simple Minds. I
had never heard of the support act, Icehouse - and don't think most of the other
patrons had either. Very 80s show - all dry ice and atmosphere. The first
song they did had the unfortunate opening line "It's so cold inside the
icehouse" - when a wee voice piped up from the stalls, "Aye! An' it's no so
fu**in' warm doon here either". Classic Glesga comeback and still makes me
chuckle to this day.
