| And then he walked along the edge of the Circle
This is the place where we will post your stories about the Green's Playhouse, The Glasgow Apollo and Satelitte City (The Wee Apollo). As it develops we will break the stories up into sections such as Myths, Gigs I missed, Meeting the Bands, Where are they now etc. No story too trivial and we will only edit out bad language!
New Forum structure on Apollomemories soon.

| I remember they gave out a limited edition 4 track ep as a freebie, in fact I've
still got it.

| Remember the gig? How could I forget it?!! They were total s****e. Steven Tyler
could barely stand up and Joe Perry's guitar was out of tune FOR THE WHOLE GIG. That
was Aerosmith...drug induced utter p**h. If ever there was a warning to an
impressionable teenager to stay off drugs, then this gig was it. Support band
Pheonix were a class act and much better than the 'smiths. Aerosmith at the Apollo
ranks as number one on my worst ever gig guide, behind Deep Purple (Tommy Bolin) and
Blue Oyster Cult also at the Apollo.

| I had a few in The Horseshoe before heading up to watch this crap. Everybody wanted
to stand, I gave up in that idea, sat down and slept thru the whole racket, mates
confirmed it was crap so I was lucky that way, sore head for about 3 days and
terrible buzzing in my napper, good days though!
