This is the place where we will post your stories about the Green's Playhouse, The Glasgow Apollo and Satelitte City (The Wee Apollo). As it develops we will break the stories up into sections such as Myths, Gigs I missed, Meeting the Bands, Where are they now etc. No story too trivial and we will only edit out bad language!
New Forum structure on Apollomemories soon.

| Drunk on stage with a burning hot band behind him. Steve Hunter and Dick wagner
on guitars. He went thru several microphones.
The Persuasions who are
missing from this list were his support. I think they shared the same management.
Some halfwit objected to a black acapella group being on the Apollo stage. Someone
nearer than me hit the clown to a round of applause.

| This was my first ( of many ) visits to the Apollo. On a coach from Grangemouth,
organised by the local record shop owners who'd been selling tickets. They left in
disgust at the state of Mr Reed several songs in. An amazing band. I still listen to
"Rock'n'Roll Animal" on occasion.
A great show, and interesting to
recall the bouncers below the stage looking up to see if Lou Reed was going to take a
tumble over the edge.
